Hurricane Damage Insurance Claim

HurricaneDamage_82826515

The preparation of a Homeowners or Commercial property hurricane damage insurance claim without the assistance of their own insurance public adjuster working on their behalf is unfamiliar territory for most property owners. It´s your responsibility to document and prove your hurricane damage claim to the insurance company, either by yourself or with the aid of a public adjuster. The adjuster sent by the Insurance Company to handle your hurricane damage claim is paid to protect the insurance company’s financial interests, not to protect your interests. Homeowners Insurance Policies are filled with complicated jargon and calculations that only a public adjuster will thoroughly understand. If you have suffered property damages from a Hurricane in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hialeah, Coral Gables, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Orlando, Tampa, Lehigh Acres, or any other area in Florida contact Total Claims Adjusting immediately for a free consultation.

Prepare to bring inside any lawn furniture, outdoor decorations or ornaments, trash cans, hanging plants, and anything else that can be picked up by the wind.
Prepare to cover all windows of your home. If shutters have not been installed, use precut plywood as described above. Note: Tape does not prevent windows from breaking, so taping windows is not recommended. Fill your car’s gas tank. Recheck manufactured home tie-downs.
Check batteries and stock up on canned food, first aid supplies, drinking water, and medications.
